Silver Moon Alpha Adrian has lived in seclusion for twenty years. When the Blood Moon awakens him, he descends to Ravenport to honor a marriage pact — and is humiliated by Scarlett. Proving his power, he is hired as a consultant by the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs. At the estate, the Moon Mirror reveals his true fate: he is the reincarnation vessel of Valerius, the Blood Moon Council's leader. The Council creates a clone of Lily to detonate the city; the clone sacrifices herself to protect it, revealing Lily's whereabouts. Adrian awakens demigod power — at the cost of only three years left to live — and flies to Europe to rescue Lily, facing Valerius head-on.
