Back When He Loved Me

Claire Bennett has been with Ethan Carter for twelve years and eight years of marriage. She accompanied him through hardship but was betrayed once he succeeded. He cheated on his secretary, caused her miscarriage and allowed his family to bully her. Claire finds Ethan’s teen diary, through which they talk across time. Heartbroken by his future cruelty, teenage Ethan travels to the present after blood stains the diary to comfort and protect hurt Claire, confronting his cold adult self. Yet a harsh rule exists: Ethan’s regret makes the boy fade. The young Ethan goes back to his youth, choosing not to love her to avoid tragedy. Years later, wealthy lonely Ethan sees Claire live happily with someone else, drowned in endless regret.
