The Woman in the Mirror

Lila Atwood, Manhattan's top plastic surgeon, has her life destroyed when her husband Derek and lifelong best friend Cecilia frame her for a medical malpractice scandal to steal her career, clinic and family. She uncovers their affair and their hidden connection to the unsolved disappearance of Katherine Duffy. Using her surgical expertise, Lila subtly reshapes Cecilia's face to match Katherine's police composite sketch, triggering a cold case reinvestigation. She exposes their crimes, clears her name, and rebuilds her practice to heal trauma survivors. This is a story of betrayal, redemption, and the thin line between beauty and identity.
