No Longer Your Destiny

Serena Lin, sole survivor of her ruined family, is rescued by Ford clan matriarch Mabel. To repay the debt, she promises to protect Mabel's cold arrogant grandson Ethan from 100 deadly disasters. She risks her life repeatedly to save him and gradually falls in love. Manipulated by his deceitful lover Chloe, who pretends to be his savior, Ethan misinterprets Serena's sacrifices as attention-seeking and despises her. After Serena is severely injured shielding Ethan from a runaway truck in the 100th rescue, her love vanishes. She terminates the pact, leaves for Switzerland to rebuild her family wealth and live freely. Ethan later discovers the truth and is consumed by regret, but Serena rejects his apology. Chloe goes to prison for her lies, and the Ford family declines. When Mabel dies, Serena ignores the defeated Ethan at her funeral and donates the Ford mansion to charity, leaving all past pain behind.
