Lee Jun Ho is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor and member of 2PM (투피엠). He graduated from Sewon High School and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Acting from Howon University and a master’s degree in Film Arts from Sejong University. Before debuting, he won JYP’s “Superstar Survival” against 6,000 contestants.
In early 2008, JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) launched a reality/documentary show called “Hot Blood Men” capturing the training program of 14 trainees. After 3 were eliminated, the remaining 11 trainees joined to create ONE DAY (원데이), and almost immediately, they were split into two separate groups, ballad-oriented 2AM (4 trainees) and hip-hop/R&B-oriented 2PM (7 trainees).
He made his debut in September 2008 as 2PM’s main vocalist and lead dancer with their first single album, “Hottest Time of Day”. The following year, they began achieving commercial success when the single “Again & Again” reached #1 in the South Korean charts.
He made his Japanese solo debut in June 2013 with his first mini-album “Kimi no Koe” and his South Korean solo debut in September 2015 with the album “One”. He made his official acting debut in July 2013 with a role in the movie “Cold Eyes”.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on May 30, 2019, and was discharged on March 20, 2021.
In April 2022, he won the Best Actor Award at the 34th Korean PD Awards for his role in the drama “The Red Sleeve”, becoming the first idol actor to win the prize.
