“Love Scout” Achieves Record Ratings While “When the Stars Gossip” Hits a New Low

SBS’s hit romance drama Love Scout continues to captivate viewers, hitting new heights as it heads into the second half of its run.

On January 18, Love Scout achieved its highest nationwide viewership ratings to date, scoring an impressive 11.4 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. Among the key demographic of viewers aged 20 to 49, the drama garnered an average rating of 4.4 percent, making it the most-watched show across all programs for the week.

In contrast, tvN’s When the Stars Gossip struggled to maintain its audience, dropping to an all-time low of 1.8 percent for its fifth episode.

  • Channel A’s Check in Hanyang kicked off the second half of its run with an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent.
  • JTBC’s The Tale of Lady Ok claimed the top spot in its time slot, earning a strong 8.4 percent average rating.
  • KBS 2TV’s Iron Family retained its position as the most-watched show of Saturday, with an impressive nationwide average of 17.4 percent.
