Actress Jin Ki Joo is considering a lead role alongside Kim Moo Yeol in the upcoming drama “Get Schooled” (working title), based on a popular webtoon.
On January 16, reports revealed that Jin Ki Joo has been offered the role of Im Han Rim, an inspector for the fictional Teacher’s Rights Protection Agency, a government body tasked with restoring teacher authority. Her agency, FL ENT, confirmed that she is currently reviewing the offer.
Kim Moo Yeol has already been confirmed to star as Na Hwa Jin, another inspector in the agency. The drama will explore their roles within the agency and their efforts to address challenges in the education system.
The series will be helmed by director Hong Jong Chan, known for Mr. Plankton and Juvenile Justice, and written by Lee Nam Kyu, whose credits include Daily Dose of Sunshine and The Light in Your Eyes.
Jin Ki Joo is also preparing for her upcoming MBC drama Undercover High School, set to premiere in February. Fans are eagerly awaiting her potential collaboration with Kim Moo Yeol in Get Schooled, which promises to deliver a thought-provoking and dynamic storyline.
