tvN’s highly anticipated drama My Dearest Nemesis has unveiled a first look at Im Se Mi’s captivating character, Seo Ha Jin, leaving fans eager for its February 17 premiere.
Based on the popular webtoon, My Dearest Nemesis tells the unique love story of Ban Ju Yeon (Choi Hyun Wook) and Baek Su Jeong (Mun Ka Young). The two initially meet as online game characters during their school days but reconnect 16 years later as boss and employee, leading to a complicated and heartwarming romance.
Im Se Mi plays Seo Ha Jin, a determined pub owner who is rebuilding her life after a failed marriage. After dating her first love for ten years and divorcing within a year of marriage, Seo Ha Jin shifts her focus to running her pub, Sullo, and regaining control of her life. Despite her resolve to avoid love, she unexpectedly grows close to Kim Shin Won (Kwak Si Yang), a mysterious customer who captures her attention.
The newly released stills showcase Seo Ha Jin in her pub, exuding a free-spirited charm with her casually tied hair and bandana. In one still, she is seen listening intently to Baek Su Jeong’s story, hinting at their close friendship. Despite their age gap, Seo Ha Jin and Baek Su Jeong share a bond that bridges their online friendship with real-life connection. Seo Ha Jin’s role as the keeper of Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon’s embarrassing past adds an intriguing twist to the drama’s storyline.
