Renowned actor Ha Jung Woo is confirmed to lead the upcoming thriller drama The Landlord, with Krystal reportedly in discussions to join him in this gripping project.

On January 14, Sports Chosun revealed that Ha Jung Woo and Krystal are set to star in the new drama The Landlord (literal title). Shortly after, Ha Jung Woo’s agency, WALKHOUSE COMPANY, officially confirmed his involvement, stating, “It’s true that Ha Jung Woo will be starring in the new drama The Landlord.” Meanwhile, Krystal’s agency, Beasts And Natives Alike (BANA), responded, “We’ll provide an update regarding her appearance after confirming.”

The Landlord promises to be a suspenseful and intense drama. It follows the story of Ki Soo Jong, a kind-hearted and hardworking man played by Ha Jung Woo. Despite achieving the status of a landlord, he faces mounting debts that lead him down a dark path. To protect his family and property, he becomes embroiled in a staged kidnapping scheme. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake crime turns dangerously real.
