Choi Hyun Wook Shines as a Dual-Personality Department Head in tvN’s Upcoming Drama “My Dearest Nemesis”

tvN’s upcoming drama My Dearest Nemesis offers a fresh take on office romance with Choi Hyun Wook leading as Ban Ju Yeon, a perfectionist third-generation chaebol and head of Strategic Planning at Yongseong Department Store. Based on a popular webtoon, the series follows Ban Ju Yeon and Baek Su Jeong (played by Mun Ka Young), who reconnect 16 years after first meeting through their online game characters—this time as superior and subordinate in the workplace.

Ban Ju Yeon’s professional demeanor conceals his secret alter ego, “Black Dragon,” a passionate gamer and figurine enthusiast. Recently released stills highlight the striking duality of his character, juxtaposing his cold, charismatic office persona with his playful and meticulous hobbyist side.

The production team has lauded Choi Hyun Wook for his ability to seamlessly portray these contrasting aspects, setting the stage for a dynamic and engaging performance. The narrative promises to blend humor, intrigue, and heartfelt moments as Baek Su Jeong uncovers Ban Ju Yeon’s hidden identity, adding a unique twist to the conventional office romance.

My Dearest Nemesis is set to premiere on February 17 at 8:50 p.m. KST, and is poised to captivate audiences with its compelling storyline and standout performances.
